ABOUT LEAP LOCAL

Genesis Analytics is a USAID prime partner for the Long Term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP) project from 2023 - 2028 being implemented in Africa. The LEAP Local mechanism is used to support the integration of capacity-building efforts to strengthen long-term institutional partnerships and systems to facilitate communication and collaboration between local entities, the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other national health authorities.

WHAT WE DO

The Long-Term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP) Local mechanism is used to support integration of capacity-building efforts to strengthen long-term institutional partnerships and systems to facilitate communication and collaboration between local entities, the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other national health authorities.

The overall goal of the project is to provide Ministries of Health (MOH) with locally relevant long-term and short-term Infectious Diseases (ID), health systems and management expertise to effectively engage and coordinate stakeholders to implement evidence-based locally relevant solutions and build and coordinate the various technical, financial, and human resources toward shared ownership, quality services and epidemic preparedness.

To meet the objectives of LEAP Local, Genesis Analytics aims to:

1) increase the capacity of the MOH to establish more efficient, effective, and self-reliant, inclusive, and transparent systems;
2) improve the quality and preparedness of ID programs to ensure quality services for all populations and
3) improve in-country coordination between ID program stakeholders and cross-country sharing of evidence-informed approaches.
