Dr Kasozi secured resources for the National Drug Resistant TB survey, helped finalize protocols and train staff, and advocated for lab accreditation. The TA also supported improvements in TB/ HIV collaboration, medicine stock management, and lab systems. Through participation in meetings and piloting a patient tracker, the TA fostered collaboration and better case management. The TA additionally contributed to expanding access to treatment by supporting the establishment of DR-TB decentralization sites. This initiative aimed to improve patient outcomes by bringing care closer to where people live.
