STEPHEN MACHARIA
Dr Stephen Macharia is a senior Global Fund Grant Adviser in Kenya. He is a healthcare consultant with extensive experience in public health in developing countries including Kenya, Tanzania and South Sudan as well as in emergency settings such as refugee camps and post-conflict countries. He has implemented projects in countries with a high burden of TB, HIV and DR-TB. His work includes establishing health services in remote areas, developing TB policies and guidelines, and playing a significant role in Global Fund request writing and grant negotiation. He is an active member of several technical working groups.
