RAYMOND BYARUHANGA
Dr Raymond Byaruhanga is the senior technical adviser in the National TB and Leprosy Program at the MOH in Uganda. He is responsible for overseeing the scaling up of TB active case finding and the utilisation of GeneXpert technology. He also plays a key role in increasing the absorption and effective use of Global Funds and USAID funding for TB. He supports the coordination of systems and processes for better service delivery. He contributes to the development of TB proposals for funding under the Global Fund and USAID. He has a master’s in Health Services Management from Uganda Martyrs University.
