MARCIA CARVALHO
Marcia Carvahlo is a biomedical professional with experience in laboratory work. She is a senior TB Global Fund grant adviser for the NTP in Angola. Marcio’s experience extends to statistical quality control and method validation, particularly for the transition of GeneXpert MTB/Rif for MTB/Rif Ultra. She has contributed to the development of the Angola DRS Survey draft protocol and the Angola National TB Laboratory Network Action Plan. She worked on the development of quality and biosafety manuals with the African Field Epidemiology Network. She has a degree in Biomedicine from the Federal University of Pernambuco/Brazil and a master's in Genetics.
